So Long, Chump
Can anyone of you out there in cyberland offer one reason—just one – why this stooge has even a speck of relevance on the public stage? More than 10 years have passed since a “jury of his peers” acquitted him of double murder. Then, in a civil trial, a jury not of “his peers” determined that (by a preponderance of the evidence) he was legally responsible for causing the wrongful deaths of the two people he was acquitted of the charges of having murdered and ordered to pay the families in excess of $33 million dollars (that they will never see). The juries and courts of law have spoken. Your "search for the real killer" has turned out to be fruitless. There is not one more additional word that needs to be added. The whole story is no longer any more relevant than one of your football games in 1972.

Word has it that a publisher of slimeworks put up $3M through an intermediary for a book and related tv documentary (to inflame book sales). Apparently, the heat got too intense for the “fair and balanced” crowd that intended to publish and air the matter, so the book was wisely pulled before it even hit the shelves. And there were already millions who pre-ordered the book on line. Here’s a better idea: take the money you were going to waste on the book and donate it to a shelter that assists battered women and children! The thought of giving that turd one dime or even a nanosecond of consideration is pure lunacy.

After all of this time, haven’t we had enough? Look, Mr. OJ, you walked, you beat the rap. You’ve shielded your assets in such a way as to be judgment proof. Isn’t that enough? It's time to disappear, shitcake.

You may be able to gloss over the fact that a loving mother and her friend, a poor kid who happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time were butchered like animals, but their loved ones cannot. Can’t they be allowed the dignity to grieve their losses in peace?

Tell us, OJ, are you crazy or did you reasonably believe that if you stuck your head out of the hole 10 years later that things would be different? What, did you expect a homecoming parade for God’s sake? Maybe you are crazy after all. When all that trial nonsense was going on (and that’s exactly what the Honorable Court “in and for the County of Los Angeles” allowed a basic homicide trial to deteriorate into), you became an industry unto yourself. The networks just loved you...their ratings spiked and cable advertising revenues hit record highs. Look at all the talking heads that “made their bones” off of this story…I’ve had enough of all of them. The lemmings, syncophants, lawyers and “pundits” have all had their 15 minutes of fame and some have made untold millions off the blood of two innocent people. Starting with you, OJ, and going down the line, there’s a lot of blood money that’s already been made.

Admit it, OJ, it’s over. Allow the victims to rest in peace whilst you fade into oblivion. Exit, stage left and keep moving. Spare us the predictable cries of outrage from those whose interest lie neither in the heart nor in justice but in higher television ratings. What is the legacy? After all this time, it remains a sordid, disgusting media spectacle. The pursuit of justice turned into a tent show circus, theater of the absurd.

So please do us all a favor, OJ: crawl back into the hole with your 9-iron and leave us alone. There were a lot of people that looked up to you as a “hero” for your athletic achievements. No more, please. No mas. It’s time to slam the book shut and turn out the lights. Go away, OJ, just go away, and take the self-righteous media creeps with you.
