A Day For The 'Dogs

It was no “Game” today. Yale manhandled the Crimson all day long en route to a 34-14 win and a piece of the Ivy League Title, so congratulations to the Sons of Yale and their impressive victory on this sunny November afternoon. There were no stirring comebacks this year; it was a virtual Teddy Bear’s Picnic for the visitors from New Haven. It was a rather sorry way for Clifton Dawson to end his Harvard career, as Yale’s halfback, a beautiful runner named Mike McLeod really turned heads with his performance. The Elis bring back 10 starters on defense next year, so they’ll be looking to crush their rivals at home next November.
