MNF Week 9 Preview

At Washington -2.5 Pittsburgh 36.5

Two pretty good teams hook up in a match that has a lot of implications going forward. The Redskins are a game behind the G-Men at 6-2 and don’t want the gap to increase while the Steelers want to maintain their one game lead in the AFC North. So far, the ‘Skins offensive output has been significantly better than Pittsburgh’s while both teams defenses are in the top 4. Big Ben will benefit from the return of Willie Parker and Holmes, but Pittsburgh’s O-Line remains a big problem, allowing 23 sacks so far. Against a blitz-happy team that’s simply unacceptable.

Projected Final Score: Washington 20, Pittsburgh 17
