Wild Card Weekend is upon us, and we closed out the regular season having whipped the USA Today Experts on the W/L and finished second against the CBS Sportsline crew ATS. A better year than last year, but we’ll be shooting against much tougher competitors next season.

Let’s look at this weekend’s games, three of which feature re-matches from last week.

At Cincinnati -2.5 NY Jets 34.5

The Jets absolutely hammered the Bungles last week in a game that meant nothing to Cincy and everything to the Jets. Things will be much different this week. The Bengals didn’t have to show the Jets anything last week while Coach Ryan basically threw the Jets’ entire playbook (and kitchen sink) at Cincy. Look for a highly motivated bunch of Bungles out there on Saturday afternoon.

Projected Final Score: Cincinnati 23, NY Jets 17

At Dallas -3.5 Philadelphia 45

Last week, the Eagles came out flat and the Cowboys made them pay for it, winning 24-0. There is a danger in thinking that Dallas will continue rolling over Philly because Tony Romo has yet to win a playoff game while McNabb is an old hand at winning in January. But things appear to be different this year for Romo and the Cowboys. He’s coming off the best month of his career, and things have to change sooner or later.

Projected Final Score: Dallas 24, Philadelphia 20

At New England -3.5 Ravens 43

Brady has never lost a home playoff game, but all of that will change this Sunday. First, Welker went down in the first quarter in last week’s loss in Houston and he is the igniter that moves New England’s offense. The Ravens have a much more balanced attack than they did when they lost to the Patriots earlier this year. The Patriots have a lousy running game but the tandem of Ray Rice and McGahee will chew up big yards through the Patriots’ defense.

Projected Final Score: Ravens 23, New England 21

At Arizona -2.5 Green Bay 47.5

When these teams met a week ago, only the Packers showed up to play. Like Cincinnati, the Cardinals were in a meaningless game and thus failed to show any of their cards (no pun intended) for this week and had the benefit of seeing everything the Pack intended to bring. So, this definitely sets things up for what should be a very good game. Boldin may be out of this game with a bad knee and the Packers are simply playing really well. The only question is why didn’t they just remain in Arizona for the week rather than flying back to Green Bay and back again? That’s got to be rough on the body and will be a major story line. In the end, Green Bay is a more talented team.

Projected Final Score: Green Bay 27, Arizona 24
