The Pack laid an egg at home last Sunday against the ‘Niners
and will be looking to atone against the Bears, who ruined Andrew Luck’s pro
debut. Anytime these teams get together, you can forget about records and the
relative strengths and weaknesses of both teams. These guys have hated each
other since the early 1920’s. You’d have to think that the Packers will not be
gracious hosts on Thursday night. They will be in a foul state for this one and
that bodes ill for Chicago. Most of the experts have penciled in the Packers to
cover, but this game is going to be a lot closer than most people think. The
Packers’ offense was sluggish at best last Sunday and it’s hard to see Rodgers
& Co. lighting it up having only three days to prepare. Packers win in a
close one.
Projected
Final Score: Green Bay 24, Chicago 21
