NFL Kickoff 2012
Alas, another NFL season is upon us and we’re back in the business of prognosticating the outcomes of the games “for fun and amusement only.” As has been the case for every season since 2006, we’ll be pitting our skills against some of the top handicappers in the business. They get paid a lot of money while we’re in it strictly for the fun.
DISCLAIMER: Every year we remind you that wagering on the outcomes of games is best left to professionals who legally wager at sportsbooks. We don’t wager legally or illegally and do not recommend that you do so either.  We simply find it sweet and satisfying to get the better of highly-paid prognosticators.
Let’s get down n’ dirty with Wednesday’s opening game.
At NY Giants
-3
Dallas
47
To the victor go the spoils and this year the G-Men get to kickoff the regular season at home in what ought to be a highly competitive battle between two NFC East rivals. The Cowboys are banged up and stale. Witten and Ratliff will be out of this one and Tony Romo lacks the horses to compete in this one. The Super Bowl Champions have won this game eight times in a row, so you go figure.
Projected Final Score: NY Giants 24, Dallas 17
.
