The Panthers came up with their second win of the year last week and are looking to end this miserable season on a high note with a big showing against the Steelers, who lost at home last week to the Jets. Troy Polamalu will be out for this game and whenever he’s not playing the Steelers’ defense loses a considerable edge. The Steelers will be looking to rebound, but more importantly will try to get out of this game without any more injuries heading into the playoff. In recent weeks, Roethlisberger has played with a bullseye on his back and has been beaten up by opposing defenses. He needs a breather and so do the rest of his teammates. Thankfully, Carolina comes to town and the Steelers should be able to dispose of them in short order.
