Peyton Manning faces a really tough challenge on Monday night against the Texans, as Joseph Addai, Dallas Clark and Austin Collie are out of the lineup with injuries. He can count on Pierre Garçon to catch the ball against Houston’s dreadful secondary, but the lack of weapons seriously compromises his effectiveness. The Texans can score, as evidenced by their Week 1 walloping of Indy, but that was at home. Indy is coming off a bye and Manning will be well prepared. The last time we picked against Manning at home, Indy annihilated the Giants. Although the offense probably won’t put up the numbers that they did against the Giants, it would not be wise to underestimate Manning.

Projected Final Score: Indianapolis 31, Houston 27
