In Memory Of President John F. Kennedy

Any American alive on November 22, 1963 over the age of reason can remember exactly where they were and what they were doing when it was announced that John Kennedy was murdered in Dallas. For most Americans this date has been consigned to the dusty pages of history, like Pearl Harbor or President Lincoln’s assassination; a tragic event from long ago that has no relevance in America today. For those of you who weren’t around then, the world simply stopped, as it did for my children on September 11th. Those of us who have intently studied the mysteries surrounding this crime and how his sudden, violent death directly changed the course of America’s history cannot forget. It’s always 12:30 in Dealey Plaza. Today marks the 45th anniversary of his death and we are no closer to understanding why he was murdered let alone who was responsible in 1963. It is a wound from which this Great Nation has yet to heal, even though the vast majority of those living on that awful day are no longer here. It’s just an inarticulate feeling that something precious and personal was stolen from us and we’ll never get it back. Suffice to say, the “official version” of events is the biggest lie ever foisted on the American People. We’ll leave the arguments for another day. Today is a time to reflect and pray. The saddest thing is we’ll never know what America could’ve been had not the hands of nefarious shadowy forces intervened. We’ll never know, will we?

Rest In Peace, Mr. President.
