Week 3 MNF Preview:

At San Diego -8.5 NY Jets 44.5

The underlying theme for tonight’s game is desperation. The Chargers (predicted by most, if not all of the “experts” to run away with the AFC West are 0-2 (losing twice in the final minute) and are looking up at the resurgent Broncos. The Jets were routed at home by the Patriots and are struggling to find an identity. The bottom line is both teams desperately need a win.

Brett Favre has always played well on Monday Night when the spotlight shines brightest, but he’s still trying to get a handle on the Jets’ offensive game plan. San Diego is at home, has better horses on both sides of the ball, and should win by more than a touchdown.

Projected Final Score: San Diego 27, NY Jets 17.
