Week 1 Monday Night Football

At Green Bay -2.5 Minnesota 38.5

The Pack begins their post-Favre era at home before a national television audience. It’s Aaron Rodgers’ baby now, and the Vikes’ D is going to test him right off the bat. The Lambeau crowd will give Rodgers and the Pack a big boost. Meanwhile, the Vikes are a tough bunch and need AP to have a big night. Jackson’s health and ability are a question mark at this point.

Projected Final Score: Green Bay 24, Minnesota 20

Denver -2.5 At Oakland 41.5

Will this be the year that Silver & Black rebounds? They seem to have sufficient strength in their running game, and have a reasonably strong defense. JaMarcus Russell is still on a learning curve, so time will tell. The Broncos are either a time that seems to be going sideways or down. Cutler is developing into a solid QB, but this team is no longer the dominant force in the AFC West.

Projected Final Score: Oakland 21, Denver 17.
