Week 15 Saturday Night
Cincinnati -7.5 At San Francisco 42.5
The only benefit of Saturday night’s game is to evoke some ‘80’s nostalgia about how the Bengals and ‘Niners squared off in a couple of Super Bowls back in the heyday of Bill Walsh. Unfortunately, the Coach left us earlier this year but that was long after the team he made famous hit rock bottom (where they still currently reside). Alex Smith is telling the media that Nolan “ruined his career”, which doesn’t exactly bode well for one or the other next year. Meanwhile, the Bungles are playing out the string. There is no pressure to succeed so the hot dogs ought to have a field day. Football’s original genius, Paul Brown, (the Football Godfather of Walsh, Shula, Noll and many other greats) created and built the Bengals before shuffling off this mortal coil and his son took over. On some spiritual plane, Coach Brown is watching all of the nonsense going on with his team and is not smiling now.
Projected Final Score: Cincinnati 27, San Francisco 17.
