Sacked!
Week 13 NFL Recap

Basically, that's how Week 13 went: Just like ol' Turkey Joe planting Bradshaw's head into the turf.

For the Week:

Vs. W/L: (6-10)
Vs. Spread: (5-11)
Vs. +/- (9-6-1)

For the Season:

Vs. W/L (116-76)

Vs. Spread: (93-97-2)

Vs. +/-: (89-96-3)

No excuses, here. Simply a rough week in the forecasting game. With 93 wins after 13 weeks, the Great Guesstimator is tied for third, a whopping eight games behind the leader in the race with the cbs.sportsline.com experts. This was a week of frustrating games. Starting with Indy, St. Louis (every week!), and Kansas City in OT, these were three tough losses. The Dolphins laid an egg, and the Falcons and the Texans are what they are, highly unpredictable from one week to the next. I really missed the boat on Jets-Packers. On the plus side, Buffalo, New England and Pittsburgh played about as expected. The yahoos in the Boston media were predicting victory well above the spread. Most of them probably never played football at any competitive level and couldn't relate to the real physical beating the Pats took in their Week 12 win against the Bears. So, let's firmly remove our heads from (the turf) and move on to next week.
