A slight improvement over last week which presently puts your fearless prognosticator over the top vs. the Big Six from cbs.sportsline.com Sorry about the Ravens and Dallas, and we were one clothesline tackle away from covering in the desert. Hope L.J. can get his head screwed back on after that dirty tackle by Rolle. The other big surprises of the week were Tennessee’s tremendous showing on the road at Indy and Da Bears obliteration of the Bills and the Jags’ utter humiliation of the Jets at home.

It appears that, for the time being, there is no quarterback controversy in Miami. Joey Harrington played very well (despite a couple of picks) at New England. Meanwhile, the Patriots were slightly better than the Dolphins. Basically, it came down to turnovers. Miami’s run defense is fabulous. The Rams are a hard team to figure, In Week 6, they face Seattle, who must still be hurting after their Week 4 drubbing in Chicago. I’ll have the Week 6 projections posted later in the week.
